Kelly Schlossin - Executive Director/Prevention Coordinator
Kelly Schlossin has worked at The Haven since 2008, over 10 years. Most of her time with the Haven has been as a Case Manager and Clinical Coordinator. Recently in January 2019, she became the Executive Director. Her background before The Haven was in Early Childhood Education, working in the childcare industry for 10 years. Kelly is dedicated to improving the lives of those in need.
Molly Rankin - Finance Director
Molly Rankin is one of the newest staff members of The Haven. She began working with The Haven in May of 2018. She may be new to The Haven, but not new to the community or non-profits. Molly previously worked for The United Way, assisting with the VITA tax program. She is an engineer by trade and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to The Haven.
Phyllis Hurst - Administrative Assistant/Access Point Coordinator
Phyllis Hurst has been with the Haven since 2012 and has over 20 years’ experience in social services. Phyllis retired 2 years ago from Medicaid/Medicare, where she worked for 15 years. Phyllis is the first person you speak to when calling The Haven and the first person you see when walking through The Haven doors. She handles all screenings and assessments for all the programs. She also provides referrals and a kind, listening ear to those that need it.
Gerri Reeder - Outreach Coordinator
Gerri Reeder has been with The Haven since 2014 and has over 20 years’ experience in social services. In addition to her work with The Haven, Gerri also works for the Department of Social Services with the Supplemental Nutrition Program (SNAP), where she has worked for over 20 years. She provides case management, encouragement, empowerment, and basic life necessities to the most vulnerable, those individuals residing on the street.
Heather Lopez - Outreach Case Manager
Heather Lopez has been a volunteer with our Outreach Program for over a year now and has officially joined our team as of February 2020! Heather has many years of experience and has a passion to help those in need within our community. In addition to The Haven, she also works for the Department of Social Services as a Human Services Specialist. Heather will be working along side Gerri Reeder to provide case management, encouragement, empowerment, and basic life necessities to the most vulnerable, those individuals residing on the street.
Malaika Fower - Jennings, Shelter Coordinator
Malaika Fowler-Jennings has worked at The Haven since 2017. She comes to us with many years of experience in the social services sector. She has worked for the Department of Social Services, Spartanburg Detention Center, and with agencies that assist children with behavioral issues. Malaika conducts all intakes for our shelter program and provides all residents case management.
